I live in Florida but I'm going to be visiting Helsinki with my boyfriend soon, and don't know yet what I'll do about a winter coat. I am about a size 8 in girl's sizes, and pretty much everything I've found online looks childish. Are there any better options? Will Banana Republic size 00 fit me?

I'm about your size, and in the past I've had some good luck with gapkids.com... occasionally they'll offer scaled-down versions of their adult sized coats. I've gotten a trenchcoat, a very nice peacoat, and even a leather blazer from them. I don't think they have anything really nice at the moment, so I suggest you try the Banana Republic route as you can ship petite styles back for free if the coat doesn't work for you. 8)
