Petite Sophisticate rises from the ashes!
Now that we've dried the last tear over the demise of this petites chain and the dearth of fashionable options for women with smaller proportions, Petite Sophisticate is poised to reappear in the form of an outlet with the same professional/casual look in sizes 0 to 12. Charming Shoppes Inc., which owns plus-size retailer Lane Bryant, purchased rights to the Petite Sophisticate name and plans 45 outlet stores across the country, including one at Albertville Premium Outlets northwest of the Twin Cities. It is scheduled to open in September. |
