Default Pink and glamorous ...

I need to make a pink and glamorous website. Yes, that's what I was told to make. [Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register]-ish website, but I don't know exactly how I should approach this.

Where do I start? How do I use pink? How do I make the website glamorous?

Oh dear, I personally think overuse of pink looks very tacky. I don't mind it in small doses but ever since Disney came out with their Princesses you can't get away from it any more. But if that's what the client wants, that's what the client gets.

As for glamorous design, my instincts would be to go for a lot of black and white contrast (which that site already has), but try to get away from the boxy feeling most web sites have. How about some of those flowering curlicues so popular right now?

Can you show me an example?

Also ... how else can I approach?

[Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register] The Food Network site used to have lots of those curlicues on their site, but now they use them mostly in advertising. You can still see a few here and there as accents though.

After I met with my client today, it seems that I need to go beyond normal 'good-looking' website. Do you know any websites that look 'stunning'?
