Welcome Terri! Where do you usually find clothes? I occasionally find good stuff at GapKids, when they make smaller versions of their adult clothes, but I think they've become more childish looking in recent years.

Have you tried Banana Republic XXS size?

Hi, Michelle!

Thanks for the welcome! I haven't tried the small sizes at Banana Republic but thanks for the suggestion, I will check them out. I do like some of what GapKids offers, although I agree that they've become a little "babyish" recently. I love Old Navy's kids section for casual stuff and their x-small or small womens' sizes, depending on what it is. Target's kids' department and Junior's has some cool stuff from time to time. I usually have to get it from their website, since the stores close to me run out of my size quickly or else don't have the selection that's on the site. Same with Old Navy.

Recently I got a pair of "boyfriend" jeans from shopjustice.com of all places--they used to be Limited Too (which used to have some decent stuff but now they have mostly tee shirts with cheerleading or dance logos on them. That's OK if you're twelve, but I'm 35!) Anyways, they fit perfect, no gap in the back, and were on sale, plus I had a code from retailmenot.com, so they were a steal.

I also LOVE Kohls and can get away with some of the small/x-small juniors and either 12 or 14 kids. Again, you have to weed through the little-kiddish looking stuff to find the gems. Candies has cute stuff there. Plus they have constant "sales"!

For shoes, if I need heels I go through Cinderella of Boston, but I've gotten some awesome sandals with short heels and tall boots from lovemyshoes.com and zappos. I love the brand Sugar that they carry, very funky!

When I think of more I will list them!

Hi Terri! I also like Sugar wedge heels, so much that I bought three of the same pair once. It is so hard to find nice shoes I have to hoard them when I do.

Hi, BlueRose!

The Sugar wedge heels are adorable! They come in the funkiest prints. I got a pair of the wedge heel sneaker boots. They're black with tiny floral print and silver sequins (sounds obnoxious but they're cool)!

Yes, I've had some very good luck at Kohls. If I wasn't too lazy to get stuff hemmed, I'd have more options clothes-wise!

hi all,
Glad to find this site and know others have limitations to clothing that fits our sizes.
Usually hit the kids 10-14 sizes depending on the cut/style, but avg is 14 top/12 bottom.
Bottoms are the most challenging to find!
