Hi. My name is Laurie. I live in Tennessee. I'm 5' 3" and I can honestly say I've never bought a pair of pants, skirt or dress (that weren't "petite"s) that I have not had to have altered. Alterations are expensive. So please designers or manufacturers, offer you designs in "petite" sizes.

Thank you for asking. I really wish there were some nice boutiques around here for trendy clothing, but if there are, I can't find them. I usually shop at Macy's or Dillard's. I loved Petite Sophisticates in the old days (I even had a Petite Sophisticates charge card.) But since they morphed into something else and are now closing completely, I haven't found anyone to take their place directly.
