help finding a job

Hi, I am a 51 year old petite. I have been a stay at home mom for 25 years. My youngest is leaving for college in mid August. I would like to get a job but have been out of the work force for 25 years and have no special skills. I do have a retail background an a AA in Fashion Merchandising from 1978! I live about 50 miles NW of Detroit, MI. I came across this web site and thought I would just throw this out there... Any thoughts would be appreciated.
