The hardest things to shop for are bras and shoes, because these are the things you really cannot alter! Clothes, I can manage with as i do a bit of sewing myself and have THE BEST seamstress for more difficult alterations, even if it does make everything twice as expensive.

I have given up trying to find a bra that fits me - cup sizes are fine but nobody carries anything smaller than a 10 in the back- I'm a 6 (thats 28 in UK/US sizing).

I can't count the number of times I have gone into a shop for a bra fitting (even boutiques that advertise they carry 'difficult to find sizes') - and walked out empty handed. what frustrates me is when the sales ladies grabs all the smallest stock and insist I try it on, despite the fact I know it will not fit just by looking at the label! But they of course know better then me. So it always ends up being a humiliating parade of feeling completely abnormal and listening to comments like "oooh, you are tiny!", "I didn't realise you were so small" or "why don't you try the childrens section"...
